About Gary:
Gary graduated from Manchester University (UK) with a first class honours degree (distinction) and a number of university prizes. He arrived in Tauranga in 2000, after several years in general practice he was appointed as consultant dental surgeon for the Bay of Plenty District Health Board. He has gained fellowships for the Royal Australasian and United Kingdom College of Dental Surgeons, and has most recently been awarded a Masters degree with distinction.
He established the dental department for restorative care at Tauranga Hospital then went on to establish a new dental service in Whakatane Hospital. Gary has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in advanced restorative dentistry, oral surgery, laser treatment, mini implants and intravenous sedation.

About Steven:
Steven, originally from South Africa emigrated with his family to NZ after 15 years in private practice in Cape Town.
He has lived and practised in Tauranga and the Bay since 2002 and is very pleased to join Gary and the team at Brush Dental.
Steven strives to provide the highest quality of dental care, his conscientious and caring manner builds trust to ensure his patients feel safe, comfortable, supported and relaxed throughout their treatment.
Steven believes that good communication is at the heart of trust, he strives to reinforce confidence and reduce any apprehension by explaining and demystifying any treatment plans so they can be easily understood.
As dentistry is a constantly evolving profession Steven places a lot of emphasis on continuing education and is involved with some progressive international Dental forums and education groups.
Steven has considerable experience and interest in all aspects of restorative, conservative and cosmetic dentistry and works closely with local specialists should referral be appropriate.
Steven enjoys an active lifestyle of golf, surfing, gym and tramping, he is married to Lee, a fashion designer and artist, they have two adventurous and creative adult children and a loving, slightly overweight Chocolate Labrador.
